Arrive at Ponta Delgada Airport and enjoy a smooth private transfer to your hotel. After checking into your room, the rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own pace. Wander through the charming streets of Ponta Delgada, visit the iconic São Sebastião Church, stroll along the marina, or simply relax and unwind with a glass of local wine as you settle into the Azores.
Dive into São Miguel’s natural wonders with a full-day guided tour to two iconic crater lakes. First, visit Sete Cidades, a breathtaking twin-lake caldera framed by emerald hills, with a short hike and boat ride across the blue-and-green waters. Enjoy a farm-to-table lunch with Azorean specialties. Then, head to Lagoa do Fogo, a pristine volcanic lake nestled in rugged peaks, perfect for photos. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Ponta Delgada Airport for your direct flight to Flores, scheduled at 1:35 PM. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel or AL (Alojamento Local) for check-in.
Once settled, enjoy a guided visit to a local shopping spot where you can purchase ingredients to prepare meals at your accommodation. During this outing, you’ll also receive an introduction to the surrounding area, helping you get familiar with local amenities, cafes, and points of interest.
The rest of the afternoon and evening is free to relax, explore your neighborhood, or enjoy your first evening on the remote and beautiful island of Flores.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day guided van tour of Flores with an expert local guide. Explore the island’s stunning waterfalls, volcanic lakes, and dramatic cliffs, including highlights such as Poço do Bacalhau, Fajã Grande, and Ribeira Grande.
Stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and short walks to fully appreciate Flores’ lush landscapes and pristine nature. Along the way, learn about the island’s flora, fauna, and unique geology from your guide.
